Ohio Therapist in Network With Medicaid

Medicaid
If you plan to use out-of-network insurance benefits, we recommend contacting your insurance provider before beginning services to better understand your coverage and potential reimbursement. Helpful questions to ask include:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible, and how much of it has been met?
• What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
• Is there a limit to the number of therapy sessions covered each year?
• Do I need preauthorization or a referral from my primary care physician?
• Are there any restrictions or requirements for receiving out-of-network reimbursement?
Understanding your benefits ahead of time can help you estimate your out-of-pocket costs and avoid unexpected expenses.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. To respect both your time and the needs of other clients seeking services, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $100 cancellation fee. Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment and do not provide notice ("no-shows") will be charged the full session fee.
Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointment fees, and clients are responsible for these charges. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain availability for all clients.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use their insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for healthcare services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the anticipated cost of your mental health services before you begin treatment. This estimate is intended to provide transparency regarding the expected costs associated with your care and to help you make informed decisions about your treatment.
The Good Faith Estimate will include reasonably expected charges for services provided by your therapist, including psychotherapy sessions, assessments, consultations, and any other services discussed as part of your treatment plan. Because therapy is individualized and the length and frequency of treatment can vary based on your unique needs, the estimate is based on information known at the time it is provided and should not be considered a contract or guarantee of the total cost of care. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.
If your treatment needs change, an updated estimate may be provided. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the amount listed on your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill through the patient-provider dispute resolution process established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: CMS No Surprises Act Information or call 1-800-985-3059. If you have questions about fees, payment options, or receiving a Good Faith Estimate, please contact our office prior to your appointment.

Therapy can help you better understand what's happening beneath the surface and develop new ways of responding that align with the life you want to create.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy approach used to help people process traumatic or distressing experiences. A somatic approach recognizes that emotions and life experiences are not only stored in our thoughts but also in our bodies. By paying attention to physical sensations, nervous system responses, and body awareness, therapy can help you better understand your experiences and create deeper, more sustainable change.

Relationship patterns often develop as adaptations to earlier life experiences. The ways we learned to seek connection, protect ourselves, or manage conflict can continue showing up in adulthood, even when they no longer serve us. Therapy can help you identify these patterns, understand where they come from, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
-
Couples therapy provides a structured space to better understand the patterns that keep you stuck. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we'll explore the cycle that's happening between you, strengthen communication skills, increase emotional understanding, and work toward creating a more secure and connected relationship.

No. Trauma therapy does not require you to share every detail of what happened. The goal is to help you heal, not retraumatize you. Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable, with an emphasis on creating safety, building coping skills, and helping your nervous system feel more regulated.
